My Wycked Ways
Equinox
Equinox represents the season of change. She heralds the autumn with her fairy dust of brilliant fall colors. Equinox opens the gateway to her sister, the Winter Solstice.
The Autumn Fairy brings with her the celebration of the harvest. She dapples the landscape with red, golden orange and shades of brown. It is the most beautiful time of the year. We wake to a crisp cool autumn morning and we feel her presence. As she travels, she spreads her fairy dust on all things green and watches each day as the foliage begins to change into a blaze of colors.
There is no other seasonal change which stirs so much emotion. It’s a magical time for all.
Equinox is an OOAK Art Doll inspired by Wendy Froud. She is my first posable doll. She has bendable arms, legs and waist. Her forearms can be turned like a real wrist. She sits on her wild forest mushroom throne pleased with her artistry. Equinox is approximately 16 inches tall standing.
The mushroom throne is a cast metal pedestal stand with a red velvet top cushion and crimped sparkle organza. It has a good solid weight to it and stands 8 inches tall.
Equinox’s costume is beaded burgundy with burgundy velvet pants. Her wings are created in the appearance of autumn leaves and are permanently attached. The wings can also be posed.
Equinox holds a mound of autumn fairy dust in one hand and is holding her bag of dust in the other.
Her bag is genuine leather.
Equinox's face, hands and legs are made from the finest professional polymer clay. Her body is a soft stuffed fabric over a strong wire armature. She has lifelike eyes and real eyelashes. Her skin has been blushed with acid free artist chalks. All detail on her face was painted with watercolor oils for a softer look.
Equinox will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity
